About me.

Hello! I'm Elizabeth Bannister, a pelvic rehabilitation certified physical therapist and Pilates instructor.

Born and raised in the Seattle area, I am passionate about helping my clients improve their functional mobility to be able to enjoy the movements that makes them happy. My goal is to help my clients achieve their functional goals while promoting appreciation for the bodies we have.

Pilates is catered to the individual. Let me know what you are looking for! Work for posture, general strength, flexibility? I can help you with your focus.

For physical therapy, I excel in finding the true physical limitations to reducing pain and improving function via a thorough evaluation. I take time in creating a patient informed treatment plan that facilitates effective and efficient care, ending with client independence in living a healthy, balanced lifestyle. With 13+ years of clinical experience, I have an extensive background in treatment for clients with needs related to peri-natal care (before, during, and after pregnancy), pelvic pain, incontinence and prolapse, constipation, vestibular dysfunction, and general orthopedic care (spine, joint, and muscle pain),

Personally, I enjoy a mix of outdoor and indoor activities including tennis, running, swimming, sailing, cycling, hiking, skiing/snowboarding, functional strength training, and yoga. I use my Pilates practice to help me maintain my abilities to participate in the activities that I love!

Looking forward to working with you.

~Elizabeth Bannister, DPT, PRPC
